The Swedish Microbiology Spring Meeting 2007 is collaborative effort involving the three major associations of microbiology in Sweden:
- Föreningen för medicinsk mikrobiologi
- Riksföreningen för mikrobiologi
- Svenska föreningen för mikrobiologi
This years meeting will also highlight the FMM’s centenary anniversary and an anniversary committee is responsible for this event.
The Swedish Institute for Infectious Disease Control (SIIDC) is the local organizer this year. The theme for the meeting is infectious disease control, with lectures and presentations.
The sessions will highlight broad aspects related to infectious disease control. In addition, there will be sessions (organized by the three associations) with presentations more focused on basic research as well as clinical research and development.
Presentations will be held in Swedish when possible. Posters will be presented in Swedish or English.
An exhibition with contributions from major diagnostic companies and organizations will be organized at the venue of the meeting.
The registration is now closed and 360 participants have registered. The meeting is full.
