| Dear SFM Members, We are delighted to announce the upcoming SFM Days 2024, a symposium that will bring together enthusiasts and experts in the field of microbiology. This event will feature a variety of topics in microbiology with a focus on molecular mechanisms, host-microbe interactions, microbial diversity & evolution, as well as antibiotics and antivirals. Event details: • Date: April 25-26, 2024 (lunch-to-lunch) • Location: Stockholm University Highlights: • Keynote lectures: Four renowned speakers will share their expertise, providing valuable insights into cutting-edge research and advancements in microbiology. • Short talks: Selected talks from submitted abstracts will cover a broad spectrum of topics, offering diverse perspectives and the latest developments in the field. • Poster session: An opportunity for participants to present and discuss their research, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange. The symposium will serve as a platform for Swedish microbiologists to connect, exchange knowledge, and collaborate. We encourage in particular PhD students and postdocs to participate and thus ask you to spread this information to your research groups and other researchers who might be interested in this symposium.
