| Dear Colleagues and Friends, we welcome you to the website of the... 11th Conference on Bacterial Genetics and Ecology - BAGECO11 It is our ambition that this conference will continue the success “BAGECO conferences”, that commenced almost 20 years ago. The main theme of this years' meeting will be "Microbial Genetics and Ecology inspire the Biotechnology of an Evolving Global Economy" and will be supported by a number of keynote lectures from renowned scientists in the field. In addition, all major subjects of Microbial Genetics and Ecology we will be thoroughly covered and we invite every research group working on this area to present their research results and exchange their ideas. Participants are called to present their work mainly in the form of posters. The Scientific Committee will chose a number of posters to be orally presented along with the keynote and invited talks.
